SLP Offer Review & Negotiation Consultation
Know what to negotiate before you sign
An offer can look strong at first glance while leaving important questions unanswered about compensation, workload, guaranteed hours, benefits and employment expectations.
Bring your offer, questions and priorities to a 30-minute one-on-one consultation. Together, we’ll look beyond the salary or hourly rate, identify what may be worth clarifying or negotiating and build a strategy for your next conversation.
30-minute consultation · $49
YOUR OFFER DESERVES MORE THAN A QUICK GLANCE.
Salary is only one part of the deal.
A competitive hourly rate can lose value when hours are not guaranteed, documentation is unpaid, the workload is unrealistic or important expenses are shifted onto you.
The goal is to understand what the position is actually offering, not just the number at the top of the page.
During your consultation, we’ll focus on the parts of the offer that matter most to you and identify where you may want more information before saying yes.
WHAT WE CAN REVIEW
Your consultation can include discussion of:
Compensation — Salary, hourly rates, guaranteed hours, overtime, bonuses, stipends and opportunities for future rate increases.
Workload — Caseload, productivity expectations, evaluations, documentation, meetings, travel and indirect responsibilities.
Benefits and expenses — Health insurance, PTO, retirement, continuing education, licensing, mileage, equipment and other reimbursements.
Schedule and employment expectations — Work hours, work location, unpaid periods, scheduling expectations and other responsibilities tied to the position.
Negotiation opportunities — Areas you may want to clarify, prioritize or discuss with the employer before accepting.
Communication strategy — Questions to ask and professional language you can use when approaching the negotiation conversation.
The goal is not to label every imperfect term a dealbreaker. The goal is to make sure you understand the offer, know what matters to you and recognize what may be worth negotiating before you commit.
