An advertised salary or hourly rate rarely tells the full story. Workload, unpaid responsibilities, benefits, guaranteed hours and contract terms can all change the practical value of an offer.

After helping colleagues and friends negotiate higher compensation and identifying a multi-thousand-dollar compensation gap in my own role, I created this audit to give other SLPs a clearer way to evaluate their options.

The goal is simple: help you make a more informed decision, identify what may be worth negotiating and avoid leaving money on the table.
